Description: Primitive
trail run (usually on the snowmobile trails in the area), with multiple loops
or out-and-back segments; course layout will be determined by trail and weather
conditions. The course map linked above may be used, but is
subject to change! Participants should be experienced and
accustomed to winter trail running, properly dressed and
prepared. If you DNF, please notify the aid station and finish line
personnel.
Aid
Station: There will be a manned aid station at the
start/finish shelter with a variety of food and fluids; drop bags can also be
left here if you want to use one. NOTE: We have moved towards being a cupless event; pre-filled
paper cups will not be set out at the aid station. Runners will be responsible for carrying
their own container (bottle, vest, reusable cup, etc.) to refill along the
way. If you do not already have a
reusable cup, we will provide you with one at check-in, courtesy of Hammer
Nutrition! Thanks for your help in
reducing the trash generated by the race.
Dogs: Dogs are not allowed inside shelters or at
group picnic areas, per DNR regulations; please make other arrangements for
your pets.
Perks: Heated
shelter at start and finish, with food and beverage for all entrants after the
race (bring a treat to share if you want!).
Awards: First
male and female finisher only.
